Washita County in western Oklahoma has seen the greatest increase in oil production over the past 10 years. Thanks to advances in drilling technology, Washita County saw annual production leap from about 500,000 barrels in 1999 to about 3.7 million barrels in 2009, according to a new OERB-commissioned study.

 

It looks like nothing but good for the community, investors, royalty owners and Oklahoma. Here come the Sooners!
